chatvarin"Colours of the Wind"? I like that song too. And you've gone ahead and really coloured it! The roughish-ness of the colouring really complements the roughish art style of CLAMP in this series really well. By keeeping to the colour schemes of the two human characters (Sakura and Syoran), there is enough sense of realism to balance out what could have become a random mesh of colours, which of course could still have been nice, but then it's not so much designed and 'colours of the wind'.
My only criticsm would be the loss of airiness from the original scan. Perhaps if the sky is paler and the rays of sunlight made more conspicuous.
Hi! Thanks for your comment on my wallpaper Colors of the wind. Im glad that it like you!
see ya!
Big thanks for your comment on my latest Utena wall.
I'm glad you liked it. I can just agree when you say that this series is underrated ^.^

Heyda, thanks for the comment on my Seph wall. I looked at the pages, they are quite nice. Did you make them?
So happy there was the FF:AC soundtrack, it's such a genial piece of music! Have you listened to the Crisis Core soundtrack? It's genial too.
And to the feathers: Yes, I know they don't look real, but does look Sephiroth real? Maybe in the fancy dress he could...NO!
The feathers were problem, I didn't know what kind of feathers should I use and this shape won at last.
Anyway, thanks again. I highly appreciate your opinion.

Thanks for the comments on my DNAngel wall. Yes, I know, I'm not the greatest title maker, but I try (and usually fail xD). I've been reading DNAngel as well, and I can't wait until the next volume comes out.
Anyways, I'm glad you like the wall, take care~

Thanks for commenting my Utsukushii wall. Let me think about it. Yea, you're right, your opinion is quite right. But, that's my style after all. Heavenly and fantasy. Haa haa, can't get out from that. Let your imagination flew with the wall. That's me!
Anyway, thanks for your opinion, appreciate it!

Wow, you wrote your life story.. For someone so tired, you sure can write... XD
I appreciate the feedback. Yes, the string of text was meant more as a decorative thing, balancing the heaviness of just having the mech on the right side. It wasn't really meant to be read, since they're chopped up lines from 3-5 Opening/Ending themes of the series itself.
Thanks for the read and fav. ^^

chatvarinYour poignant statement I can fully empathise with. I wish it would indeed stop.
The concept itself is very interesting. The stock image is well chosen. Somehow, the red patch in the centre is alluding me to the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs (that and the way the text is quasi-Japanese). That said, the text is unreadable like that, and I think it hurts that English should be written top-to-bottom like that. Moreover, I also don't see the point of having the silhouette reflected. I think that should generally be avoided, though that is most likelily just my personal taste.
Overall, the effect is there. Only the text needs to stand out a lot more, as it won't be read that way, and people will completely miss your intention unless specifically guided!
Thank you so much for commenting on my wallpaper, "an angel cries...".
I am realy glad that you looked through the image itself and pointed out some little thingies. I also have to admit that though this wallpaper had begun as a game (I am mentioning this in my description too) it ended up as an intetionally tribunal work to all these people who were lost amidst wars. So everything on it has its own purpose. What I am trying to say is that the almost visible text, the reflected silhouette and all this crimson upon black are symbolizing parts of my perspective towards war. Firstly the silhouettes are two (mirroring one the other) cause they are reffering to "us and them" (people who live happily in peace and people who live in misery caught in a war) -but this is only one perspective of the mirroring silhouettes. Secondly the crimson colour symbolizes the blood of the victims. And lastly the text is barely readable cause I wanted it to be this way. It symbolizes the hardships. And the quasi-Japanese writing style was used more as an effect and not as a refferance to Hirosima and Nagashaki.
The whole wallpaper is allegorical.
As for the stock photo, I used this one cause it was the most familiar pic of war and disaster and maybe the only one friendly to the eye. My other options were too "scary".
The only reason I haven't written all these stuff in my description was that I wanted the people who would see to make their own conclusions -without my guidance.
And I am just writting these to you cause I feel I should give an answer.
Thanks again for commenting. I am realy glad you took the time to look through my wallpaper...
